  • I've been wearing one for the last couple of days and improvising the knot. This looks great and shouldn't come loose. Thanks.

  • Was just looking for it thank you

    (:

  • The best i wear one most of the time.

  • It was indeed a Croatian garment ( red in colour) worn about the neck of a regiment of soldiers serving in France. King Louis adopted it as a neckcloth/ cravat. It has many names but a cravat (cravatte) in French commonly means tie.We split hairs gentleman

  • Ascots are a pre formed cravat, ie pre folded in , a quicker way of achieving the look of a folded Gentlemans square or neckcloth. The attire you refer to, is commonly known as a 'Ruffle tie'. But most vacuum cleaners are referred to as 'Hoovers' are they not, regardless of the fact they may have been made by some other manufacturer.

  • this is an ascot not a cravat, cravats are similar to a necktie knot. ascots are worn as you displayed.

  • plus the shop looks wicked just eyed up that fishtale he had on display any1 no the shop name or location?

  • I would like to see a video from the person who disliked this video on how to tie a cravat. This is the best one I have seen and so quick and simple! PLUS the cravat stays put all day long

  • I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis.

  • Here lies confusion! a preformed or shaped cravat is sometimes known as an ascot, ie the neck is narrowed and pre shaped for ease of tying. The gentlemans square (very hard to find thesedays) has to be folded in everytime, This is worn as a cravat and gives a much bulkier appearance
