Joe can still sing, check out that Stagefright video from 2000, 5 years after this performance, he sounds insanely good there. Then the Armageddon It acoustic in 1999 on VH1 Storytellers was also better than this if you want to compare like with like.

Joe did ok here I think...He's just singin around those high notes...Kinda befitting to accoustic style DL....However,It woulda been nice to hear some classic Joe Elliot high notes
