Hüsker Dü featured on a program called "The New Music," recorded backstage at the RPM Club in Toronto, 13 Oct 1987. Band interview with clips from commercial videos and performance snippets of "Now That You Know Me" and "Books About UFOs" from that night's gig. The segment may originally have been recorded for Canadian TV, but the SKY logo combined with the fact that this video was converted from PAL (a contributing factor to its frightfully poor quality) suggest that it also aired on UK TV.

  • Hard-core hippies, I like it...I was at this show, remmber seeing them two years prior at a dive called Larry's Hidewaya in Toornto which is the only show I ever can genuinely say I lost my hearing for two days following an ear-shattering auditory assault.

  • Grant Hart ,charming, intelligent and handsome as ever!:)

  • I was at that show. I thought it was Oct. 17. I think they were backed up by Groovy Religion, whoever they were.

  • 4.15 - There was a video for 'Makes No Sense At All'?! I've never seen that before.

  • I saw Bob play in Hamilton ONT about 2 years ago. A tiny little dive with a stage about 5" off the ground. I was in front -- and forgot to wear ear protection. Yeah...hearing in one ear gone for nearly a week. That dude plays LOUD!

  • @woodoven alright Greg dude! :D

  • not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

Husker Du is is one of my all time favorites, bob just seems to take himself a bit too seriously.

  • Bob is a huge fag

  • 1:46 hahaha yeah!

  • God, Bob must've been insufferable to be around during that time.......

Thanks for posting this, though -- it's a rare piece of Huskers video.
