@IlovePaulMcCartney3 you should listen to "sad eyed lady of the low lands" and you'll see its not one of the george's best, but one of bob dylan's best. George himself told it was based on that song.

@mclovett95 Hope you've cleaned yourself up, and have found enlightenment.

@upchuck69 my favorite part, actually

This song could be brand new. I can think of dozens of indie bands whose overall sound mirrors this one track.

@IlovePaulMcCartney3 i agree, this one and "Within you and without you" as well

Smashed in between the extremely exuberant "Helter Skelter" and "Revolution 1" on the second disc of The Beatles most overcrowded album, I would call this The Beatles' most overlooked song.
-
the base guitar in this is spectacular

Think of this song next time you've just made love to your beautiful one and are holding her in your arms ...
... works for me.
Everytime people think of George Harrison they think of Something and Here Comes The Sun. Now, don't get me wrong, those songs are beautiful and fabulosley written. But in my opinion, this song is the best song that George has ever written for The Beatles. It just goes so much deeper and sounds more personal to me. The words, the music.. Simply amazing. <3

I would skip this (more interested in Revolution 1), but one day my ipod froze and I cumed in my pants
