Can the internet, a medium that is not solely dedicated to the advancement of student's learning, ever be a form of comparable education to traditional schools?
While I don't doubt the effectiveness of online schooling, the constant temptation of distraction seems that it would be way to strong for most students to handle. It seems that students who attend traditional schools procrastinate enough online as is; if a student's learning environment is already on the internet, can't the case be made that straying away from what they are online to do (studying), would have an even bigger effect?
In my experience as both an online student and an online teacher, the first requirement is to take the time to properly orient yourself and prepare for the online environment and the second is good time management skills. Finally, I'd say anyone can be educated online but they do need to take it seriously and do it properly.
I feel as though these requirements are somewhat absurd. Even the most focused and driven students I know procrastinate and are sometimes unable to resist distractions. Consequently, human nature alone seems to preclude students from online education. While I agree that these criteria may be useful in discerning whether online education is the most apt method for a particular student, I still assert that students who do not meet these requirements could benefit as well.
The web is a good key to good and fun technology it will open brand new doors to the world like being able to get your self analyzed and than get how you look easyly into an online rpg with friends soon you yourself can get into your labtop for the rpgs.Learning is important to on the web when your born you must get lots of knowledge of the Earth and things them selves on it before you die technology will help you with that.We use them in schools so how can that very thing not be clear.Focus!
