there is something wrong with mine.. for some reason it doesnt open anymore.. i cick the parallels icon but it wont ope.. does anyone know whats wrong?
hey, i have an old version of parallels version 2.5 i have bought it with my first mac the white (old one) and now my new mac is 10.4.6 leopard and it's not suitable with the other version of parallels, is there any way that i can update it or anything ??
This will be excellent for when I get a Mac. I wanted to do some minor gaming on Steam, but I don't want to have to reboot into Windows every time I want to do so (I know Steam is on Macs now, but the selection of games is still too small).
@iApple14 But Boot-camp is made by Apple. Plus Linux can run Parallels, vmWare, and VirtualBox. Meaning that a PC user doesn't need a Mac. around and around we go.
Most Windows error , and BSOD are fake caused by Scareware. Plus if you use Parallels, vmWare, and VirtualBox in Windows for all your web surfing and software testing than Windows never crashes, and never get viruses or scare-ware . I run Windows 7 inside Linux Ubuntu on an HP/PC and and almost never have a problem.
Lunarek, first you do realize Mac's run circles around a PC. They NEVER freeze, crash, get viruses/malaware, or bog down like a PC. The current O/S screams and doesn't need patches/updates every other day, like Windows 7.
Parallels allows Mac users to run software for various peripherals that don't offer Mac equivalents. In my case, Blackberry DM. Once Mac is equally supported the PC will be a relic. Get your facts straight nimrod.

@Jabberwok090 Yes, you need a copy of Windows in addition to Parallels. Parallels doesn't come with a Windows license.
