Take a look at this extraordinary surrealist architecture of Edward James in Xilita, State of San Luís Potosí, Mexico! Edward James (1907--1984) was a British poet known for his patronage of the surrealist art movement. He sponsored Salvador Dalí and René Magritte, among others. He left Europe and went to Mexico, eventually following his dream to build his own surrealist fantasy within what is already a surreal and fantastic landscape called "Las Pozas", in the rainforests of central Mexico. One thing that I find interesting about Las Pozas is his complete integration with its natural surroundings. It both imitates and strives to compete with nature. Many of the forms are now covered in lichen and moss and it is very possible that the rain-forest will soon overtake the creations of Las Pozas. By F.C., october 2010
Está hermoso el video, junto con la música, lo mejor :)
Me encantaría visitar las pozas un día.
