Cybill Shepherd - Blue Moon

From 1987's Moonlighting Soundtrack. This song was covered by a number of of people including the Marcels. This version right here from Cybill Shepherd (being my favorite actress) gives her all in this bluesy version with a full big band sound in front of her. I can't stop listening it because I love it to death. Truly one of the best she ever recorded for the episode "The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice" which filmed in color and then black and white. She also did "I Told You I Love Ya, Now Get Out!" from the same episode. Great voice and talented individual.

I just saw the episode for the first time on DVD---her singing blew me away! She can hold her own with all the other greats who have sung this song, and I give special applause to the arrangement and the Big Band sound backing her magnificently.

Hollywood was so embarrassed by the superb quality of "Moonlighting," they spent the next forty years and four trillion dollars making horrible movies and even worse TV shows, to atone for their sins.

At least that's what they SAID publicly. I figure they just enjoyed doing it anyway.

Classy. Was a kid in the 70s and early 80s when I saw this Lady on TV shows. I've always associated her with class. Even picked my girlfriends by her criteria as much as this was poissible in ---Nigeria.
