LHC First Beam - from the CMS Control Centre

Just a quick vlog from the CMS Control Centre. I'm here doing media interviews for the collaboration, and so was lucky enough to be here when it all happened - but today's been all about the success of the hard work of the physicists and engineers who have spent their time and energy (so to speak!) making it all work.

So is there a way of capturing the altered proton after it collides with the other proton? What if it does not go out of existence? This obviously was not considered? US spent more on bailing out banks then you guys in switzerland spent on your wormhole.I assume that your leader was an ex-sandoz lab mouse. And that all the pakistani's working for you will be in the new earth on the other side of the black hole with us. Have you seen the two headed dog chasing its tail in and out of dimensions?

As far as i know , no LHC collisions have taken place.If im right , when they do take and what can we expect ? And please dont start with the black holes and end of the world.

RsReal00 : scientists are not even sure if micro black holes exist or if they even can exist , let alone if they will be generated in that machine.

The micro black hole takes 50months to 50years to grow big enough to destroy the earth. So dont fucking hurraah yet -.- .

Thank you for posting! Please post more as it happens. The major media in the USA isn't covering this much. They mention LHC as a sidenote. CERN is making history, and the media is more interested in talking about 'lipstick on a pig'. So keep us updated!! Very exciting!
