About a month later, Bailey and Kevin were knee deep in wedding plans, Nick and Rhiley were, well, Nick and Rhiley. and Joe hadnt seemed to have moved past his freak out. Callie and Joe had been broken up for a month now, and Callie seemed to be doing a whole lot better now.

She accepted the fact that Joe couldnt handle their relationship and had moved on to a new boyfriend, Ryan. She seemed happy enough, and Ryan was falling pretty fast. and well, why wouldnt he?, Callie is pretty awesome.

Joe: So how do you feel about Ryan?

Rhiley: Joe, weve gone over this.
Joe and Rhiley were hanging out at the Jonas House, waiting for Nick to come home with their Jamba Juices.

Joe was still looking at her, so she kept talking.
Rhiley: I think hes really nice.
Rhiley saw a hint of jealousy run across his face.

Rhiley: Joe, it has been a month, and you were the one that...
Joe: I know! Thanks Rhiley..

Rhiley: What happened? (her voice softened, she wasnt joking with him anymore)
Joe looked down, trying to avoid the question. He hadnt talked to anybody about it, not even Nick.

Rhiley didnt give up, and Joe gave in.
Joe: The moment Tyler started reminding me of all these things I had said before, I freaked out!

Rhiley: But Joe we had talked about that before..
Joe: I know, but I told myself I wasnt going to get serious again. I got hurt, I got hurt bad Rhi, and I just cant get that involved again.
Rhiley: Then accept it and move on.
Joe: I have.

Rhiley: Who you trying to convince, me or yourself?

Before Joe could object, Nick came in with the juices. He swung over onto the couch and kissed Rhiley as he handed them their drinks. She grinned at him and kissed him quickly on the lips. She slapped Joes face before he could groan and laughed as she sipped her Jamba.
Joe stuck his tongue out at them, and got in a pushing fight with Rhiley. He was laughing when Callie came walking in the house with Ryan.
Joes face dropped as he stopped laughing.

Ryan: Hey guys! I was thinking we could all go to lunch, you down?
Rhiley: For sure! I could always go for some food.
She hopped off the couch.

Ryan: Alright, awesome!
Joe gave Rhiley a look.
Rhiley: Itll be good for you.

Nick nodded and got up, wrapping his arms around Rhiley and walked her to the door.
Joe followed and was standing next to Callie at the door; Nick and Rhiley had already walked outside. and Ryan was in the bathroom.

Joe: How was the soccer game?
Callie had started playing soccer again, mostly to get her mind off Joe, but she had started loving it all the same.

Callie: Good! It went really well...being that we won.
Joe laughed

Joe: Yeah, Id say that it went pretty good. Whens your next game?
Callie: Tomorrow.
Joe: Oh nice, youll kick their butts.
He grinned at her and she couldnt help but grin back.

Ryan came running out and embraced Callie, giving her a kiss on the neck. Callie looked at Joe with a kind of sympathetic look on her face and Joe looked away. He looked up again when he heard her scream and giggle as he tickled her out the door.

He used to be the one that made her giggle like that..Oh what was he thinking?! He didnt want that. It would just get too serious with her.
He snapped out of it when Rhiley came back to drag him out the door.

Rhiley: Suck it up.
She pushed him in the car, and ran around to sit next to Nick. Ryan was driving and kept kissing Callie at the stop lights. Joe looked disgusted when he saw this,and Nick would elbow him.
