The Zoom Q3. I bought this for creating digital stories at our library. Studio-quality audio with bonus of Flip-quality video.

Takes an SD card and it is simple to operate - just press the record button.

It has no focus and no zoom, but I see the video as a big bonus on top of a top-notch audio recorder at a very reasonable price. The Zoom H2 can be used as an input mike for a PC, which the Q3 cannot be.

It comes with software that lets me instantly upload to YouTube.

  • hey hello :) I got it to now but I have a question, do you need nero for the computer to play it of ?

  • i like this product but i dont wanna upload straight to youtube i wanna edit it first,...something tells me most users are using a MAC computer, how do I convert the formate. or do i have to upload to youtube then get download it from there with realplayer sp? and convert it from there.?

  • failblog me thinks XD. nice one tho :)

  • LOL its not only funny we couldnt see the otherside of the Q3 but, she also thought by turning it round you would see the back of her hahahah funny i want one.

  • Nice 1 :D

  • you need two mirrors haha, that was brilliant haha

  • hahaha! that was funny.

I do wish zoom had a light adjuster within it. I really want a refund on mine, as it's ability to see indoors is terrible.

Even mobile phone cameras know how to increase aperture size to let in more light in low-light conditions. In this regard, the product is very disappointing.

But the sound is great. Oh well, is nothing perfect??

  • damn that audio is perfect

  • This developmental experience was termed as "the mirror phase", by French linguistic philosopher, Jacques Lacan.

  • lol.. oops.
