@nazarene1 I think he says it better when he says lion devour but the lamb deciphers this is the duality of the rastaman nature. He is saying we need to be a balance of both. Be kind to all people of this world (lamb) but never let them make you live under tyranny the (lion) must arise and fight for his justice.

But due to the sin/evil of the world, the lion can get real vicious suddenly. When you think it's peace and safety, boom, sudden destruction. But the lion's original & true nature is that of the lamb. Check it. Also, Lamb of God is the Conquering Lion of Judah. Same Spirit. The Lion is King of the Jungle, yet so humble as the Lamb. Check it.
