@MCaaaarter You don't have to have listened to her from the very beginning to be a real fan. Not everyone was able to find Adele's music before she became popular, since it didn't really come on the radio, and some people can't buy CD's or anything like that. But either way, a REAL fan would say they're a Real Adele fan and always WILL BE!♥ (Not has been!) And PS... A true fan would also know how to spell her name. That is all.
