Update 4!

I was able to bought an Broadcom bcm94312 and changed my wifi card by pressing F10 + A when booting to load the advanced bios option. Then when i'm in BIOS, i had to change an option - Advanced - Extra Bus Reserved - to Enabled. And finally i could change my Wifi card.
I used this kext - kexts. com/view/173-bcm94312mcg.html installed with KextHelper b7 and it works like a charm! The wifi is working!
Here is the BIOS option: mediafire. com/?5j81y463y9ek41k
Here is the wifi working: mediafire. com/?xhum32apeq7muel

Thanks to "MacAppsStore".

Update 3!!!

Finally got all cores working, so we don't need to use cpus=1 and busratio=xx anymore. Thanks to atlee.

Here it goes:
1. Download this file (You must have to be logged in) insanelymac. com/forum/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=99688 Copy the Downloads/lapic_fix/i386/mach_kernel file to /Extra/ Then repair the permissions:

sudo chown root:wheel /Extra/mach_kernel
sudo chmod 644 /Extra/mach_kernel

2. Open /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist file with PlistEditor Pro. On Kernel add Extra/mach_kernel like this:
key Kernel key
string Extra/mach_kernel string

2.1 Take off the cpus=1 and busratio=xx and add DropSSDT=Yes from Kernel Flags, it will be like this:
key Kernel Flags key
string ForceWake=y arch=i386 DropSSDT=Yes string

If you want my com.apple.Boot.plist file, here it is: mediafire. com/?rpbs823ow4c0vzs

3. Reboot. and be happy.

Update 2:
Here the kext for the keyboard and touchpad multitouch:
http://www.mediafire.com/?d5vs0ynm5fw2t18.
What works on touchpad? tap to click, 2 finger scroll vertical and horizontal.

The hdmi port: After i got the graphic card working, my hdmi port works out of the box.

Update 1:

For some questions, i have shared my Extra folder with the FakeSMC kext that i used in this video. Hope it helps.

And here a new SleepEnabler kext for Lion 10.7.2:
http://www.kexts.com/view/1707-sleepenabler.kext_-_10.7.1.html

Specs: Hp Envy Beats Model 1114ef 14-inch i7 720M 1.6Ghz - 8Gb RAM - 640Gb HD - ATI Radeon 5650m 1Gb...

What works:
Graphic card QE/CI full, Sound, battery, webcam HD with facetime, photobooth, etc., brightness, touchpad multitouch, usb's, bluethooth, ethernet, keymaps from mac keyboard, cd/dvd/rw, hdmi port.

What doesn't work: Wifi.

STEPS - HOWTO install Mac OS Lion 10.7.2 on the Envy Beats 14' Notebook:

1 - Install Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.6 with the method you like(LeoHazard).

2 - Follow this tutorial: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/07/xmove-multibeast-install-os-x-107-lion... (If the "OS X Lion App" crash, right click on it - click on "Show Packages Contents" - Contents - SharedSupport - open "InstallESD.dmg" image - in the opened image open "Install Mac OS X Lion" app).

3 - After installed download this zip file: http://www.mediafire.com/?e2ua7bw0253r8v1

Install the 4 kexts with Kext Helper b7 - AppleACPIBatteryManager for the battery - IOPCIFammily and IOUSBFamily for the webcam - VoodooHDA for the Sound.

Copy the com.apple.Boot.plist to /Extra from your system.

Copy the boot file from the zip to / (root) folder.

4 - If you get a scrambled screen you can make these steps:

4.1 Install SwitchResX if you haven't already, set the resolution to your liking.

4.2 Boot to Windows and retrieve your EDID using the ELDIM - EDIDViewer(Google it).

Once you have the EDID saved somewhere you can access (online, text file, USB key, whatever), reboot to OSX.

Once you have your EDID, boot OSX (using screen sharing, if the screen is unusable) and open SwitchResX.

Drag this file to your Desktop: /System/Library/Displays/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-756e6b6e/DisplayProductID-717, and rename it to *.plist.

Open it with Plist Editor Pro, and add your EDID (You must have to copy your edid in the text file you have saved from Windows and paste in there with the same template code).

Once done, remove the .plist extension, overwrite the /System/Library/Displays/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-756e6b6e/DisplayProductID-717 file, and reboot.

5 - Reboot and Voila!

*If you are having scrambled screen after doing the EDID process do the following:

Option 1: Boot with GraphicsEnabler=No to the system then configure the VNC server on Lion - Preferences - Sharing - mark Remote Management - mark all options - hit Computer Settings - mark "VNC viewers may control screen with password" - enter a password - ok. Then access your computer from any other computer or device with vnc client - Change the resolution screen to 1366x768 in System Preferences - Displays.

Option 2: Install LogMeIn - logmein.com - you must make an account for free. Then access your computer from other computer or device with LogMeIn client - Change the resolution screen to 1366x768 in System Preferences - Displays.

When it's done you will not have to do this anymore.

If i get the wifi working i update here.

  • The boot time is really not reasonable..

My i5 2500K boots up 10 seconds skipping the chemelon screen.

  • @kkmingming yes, it was some kexts conflicts and i was using the kernel cache, so now it's about some seconds...

  • @kkmingming boot time has nothing to do with the processor, it is all hard drive speed. this notebook has a 5400 rpm hd = slow boot time but better battery life.

  • make a video on how to fix the graphic card, i am confused on what you are saying. good video by the way.

  • That's awesome man. I got 10.6.3 retail to run on my Toshiba Protege R705 but I can't seem to get the battery icon to show and function, also I can't seem to mess around with the brightness. My volume works fine, and also i can't seem to get it to boot without iboot disc no matter what i do with multibeast.
