BMW reveals the new 6 Series Gran Coupe set to put a thorn in the Mercedes CLS's side. Acura confirms an NSX Concept for the Detroit Auto Show next month, Ford recalls 140,000 cars for wheel defects, and a Camaro crashes into a DUI checkpoint in North Carolina. When BMW decided the x5 and x6 were "M" ready, they lost a ton of respect; they are more concerned with sales, rather than representing M properly.
The X5 and X6 go against what M stands for, in almost every way. They are trendy sales platforms aimed at a demographic that BMW did not have.
X6 and X5 "m" are BY FAR the loosest interpretation of a M cars... I can deal with them looking past the use of N/A power, but the size/weight/purpose of those confused M cars is an unavoidable truth.
