Camp Rock Winter Edition 9

At about 6 in the morning Shane was awaken to an overly hyper Mitchie. She had started jumping on his bed screaming “it’s Christmas Eve! It’s Christmas Eve! Get up Shane! Get up!”

Shane: how in the world are you hyper at 6 in the morning when you only got, what, 4 hours of sleep? *smells her breath* and why does your breath smell so much like pepper mints? Because I know you don’t have peppermint flavored toothpaste.
Mitchie: I had about 5 candy canes, 3 cookies, and chocolate milk already. And it was really good too. And I brushed my teeth before I ate them. I want another candy cane!
Shane: There is no way you are getting another candy cane. You aren’t even dressed. How did you even get all that stuff?
Mitchie: *rolls her eyes* I’m the cook’s daughter who helps in the kitchen. I know where my mom hides the spare key. And I put it back and relocked the kitchen so no one is the wiser. And you will tell no one about this. Now I want a candy cane! A bubble gum flavored one! No, wait. A rainbow one! Yeah! I want a rainbow one!
Shane: I thought I hung all the candy canes up.
Mitchie: Nope! That was just one of the boxes. There is another one.
Shane: why don’t you just go back to your cabin and wake up everyone else?
Mitchie: I already did. You were the last one. Now come on. Get up!
Shane: Fine. Go get dressed and I’ll meet you in the mess hall.
Mitchie: okay! *runs out of the room, back to her cabin*
Shane: *shakes his head* crazy girl.
Shane dressed, grabbed a jacket and walked down to the mess hall. There he saw that he and his friends were the only people there. Everyone was in the part with their recently finished tree. He also saw the horrifying sight of Mitchie with yet another candy cane in her mouth. Shane groaned as she waved at him, happily licking her candy cane.

Mitchie: I got another candy cane Shane!
Shane: who gave it to you?
Mitchie: Caitlyn *goes back to her candy cane*
Shane: Why did you give that to her?
Caitlyn: because she said you didn’t give her one.
Shane: so if I wouldn’t give her one, why would you?
Caitlyn: because it would annoy you. *smirks*
Mitchie: *happily licking her candy cane*
Jason: I want one. *goes and gets one. Comes back and follows Mitchie’s actions*
Mitchie: *finishes her candy cane* that was good!
Shane: See what you did Caitlyn? Now she is even more hyper.
Tess: come on Shane. It’s Christmas Eve. Let the girl be happy. Or hyper or both or whatever she is.
Shane: *groans* fine.
Mitchie: *jumping up and down excitedly* It’s Christmas Eve! It’s Christmas Eve! It’s Christmas- *stops short*
Mitchie stopped as the same obnoxious laughter that had been heard the day before filled the room.
