Unfortunately Americans aren't very friendly, because a lot of people cannot be trusted. We afraid to get close to people, no matter who they are, because we are afraid that people are out to get us. When we let our guard down we get conned or mugged.

Think before you speak. I was born in Bangkok, lived in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China, for 4 years until moving to the states. My mother is half Thai, my father is from the UK and works in Hong Kong where he manages a hotel and teaches at a university. I have family members living in Hong Kong, the UK, Luxembourg, Dubai, and Thailand. I regularly travel to China annually. Umm, let's not go there with the "dumb ass american" stereotype.
