2008 Honda Transalp

Honda has launched an all new Transalp for 2008 replacing the seven-year-old design with a completely new machine based around the 2007 Deauville engine.

I've ridden this bike and it's a very nice bike What happened is that Honda has decided to adapt it more to the road sacrificing some off-road capabilities (you can't have it all). But I think this way it's a far better tourer (for those long stretches mainly on bad roads, which is it's real target, not enduro). The Transalp was never an enduro bike (too heavy).Fuel injection is great because it means much better power, with much better fuel economy and less pollution. Carburetors are history

Transalp WAS a great bike. New one has bad handling in terrain (scooter type front wheel), too many valves, fuel injection sucks (on any bike), and it sounds like a honda monkey. Looks good, drives bad.

For you that can not ride a motorcycle. You will find no better made bike like this one. Old Transalp(talk about ugly)is a joke too 2008 model. So boys that do not know there head from there asshole, like "cyclemonk" and company. Shut your dumb pie hole, you have no sense of style either. This bike has more class, good looks than your entire family tree tallied up together! Any one calling this machine a assfualt racer your right on the money. Only a rookie beleives this is all it can do.
