@MitsahE1970 It's right were the 18th ammendment is overturned( it only counts one drug, but...[ ok, technically not the bill of rights, still the constitution]) And please tell me what you interpret " ... respecting the establishment of religion," to mean. "personal responsibity" is also vague. Tell me exactly when a law would constitute being babysat for you, for me it can be summed up in two laws Drug Prohibition and the PATRIOT act

@arachnophile01 -- It's only as vague as you (or activist courts) allow it to be. I draw the line at impinging on my right to take care of myself; i.e., personal responsibility vs. being baby-sat. Also, "free drugs"? Please tell me where in the Constitution that exists. I'll give you a head-start: save yourself time and please don't look for it near the "separation of church and state," which has never been there.

@MitsahE1970 So where do you draw the line? I draw the line at the bill of rights, so basically free speech, free handguns, free privacy, and free drugs. "General welfare", though, is so vague it can reffer to almost anything that targets the general populace

@arachnophile01 -- Pretty standard Constitution stuff: Provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, promote the blessings of liberty. A huge difference between being somewhat dependent on the federal government and relying on a bureaucratic nightmare, especially when said monstrosity has given us a broken Dept of Ed and failed War on Poverty. Like I said, too many have led us down this road and I'm glad so many of We the People are poised, paraphrasing Bono, to take the US back.

@arachnophile01 -- Plantation mentality goes further than slavery,notably espousing policies which keep a citizenry dependent on the federal government, and I most certainly stand behind the statement.
