The green field is Mown/ Udacu se

This is one of our favourite men's songs, Zakošena zelena livada/The Green Field is Mown, it is „potresalica" (a "shaking" singing, ancient technique typical for Serbs in theDinaric mountain areas). This "shaking song" we sing according to the singing of Todor Todorović and Milan Kaurin from the village of Pecka,Mrkonjic Grad vicinity, in theBosnian Krajina (Western Bosnia), field recording by Vlado Milošević Lyrics: The green field is mown, the young maiden is wooed.
The second song is the female wedding song: Udacu se.

This is one of our favourite songs, it's female wedding singing from Banija, lead. Dragana Tomic, trad./arr. S.Spajic and we like the lyrics very much. Here I translated a bit from Serbian into English:
