  • Hi, thanks for uploading this video. I tried yesterday to import the files but things have changed now. I have a question, tough, how far back can I go with backtesting? I mean for the shortest time frames (1M and 5M), can I get data from 2006, 2007, etc. (for example)?

  • @pierneus You can go back as far as you have data. There's no limit.

  • @OneStepRemoved Of course "I can go back as far as I have data", the point is that I don't have it, and don't know how to get it. I ask the question again : Can I get data from 2005, 2006 and so on? If so, from which web site? Alpari?

    Thanks

  • @pierneus I can't post the link in the comments section. Go to onestepremoved, click forum, Basics of MetaTrader, then FXDD Price History. The link is there.

  • Yes, I do trade.
