So? I remember Legend of dragoon was on 4 discs.
The fact that the game has 3 discs doesn't mean your going to have to change disc every hour, more like once every 10 to 15 hours, which is about the lenght of a single game nowadays, so unless your planning on playing all three parts in a single go, your not goin to have any trouble with it.
Also the reason why FF games need multi-disc isn't because the game has superhigh-res textures, but the fact that it has over 9000 prerendered Videos ...
