VIDEO INFO:
This song is over 12 minutes long: because of this, I had to split the video up into two 6-minute parts since YouTube won't allow video uploads over 10 minutes anymore.
A mashup/mix of 9 or so Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment songs, Instrumedley is absolutely awesome and pretty much a selection of some of the hardest guitar and drum portions of said songs.
Part 2 will be up in a few days. If you wanna know why I don't put it up now, it's because if you're a subscriber, you only see the most recent video i've posted. Therefore, if I put up Part 2 right now, probably 90% of you wouldn't see Part 1.
That's also why I space my videos about 3 days apart, instead of posting up the 10 or so videos I could post up right now, all at the same time: so that the majority of you see it in your subscription box, because I know not all of you go on YouTube every day/hour/minute.
Also, check out http://www.youtube.com/user/Omancer because he's awesome and deserves a ton of views/subs.
My stick goes in front of the camera, but if you think about it, there's literally nowhere else I could place the camera and still get a nearly flat view of the screen.
Fraps, Camstudio, Camtasia, Playclaw, and every other screen recording program causes DTXMania to lag heavily, that's why I don't use them. DTXMania eats up a ton of processor speed, so using anything else while i'm playing it drops the FPS down to around 5.
I didn't do double bass because I don't have a second pedal: once I get one, i'll do double bass charts. If you want to see me doing double bass, check out my Emerald Sword and Black Diamond videos.

Drummania and Rock Band are both great for different reasons. Drummania is a lot more realistic by comparison(which isn't fair really because Drummania is an arcade cabinet while the Rock Band drums are a cost-conscious product), but a lot of the music in Drummania is an acquired taste. Rock Band however has great music but has a more simplistic setup. It's worth noting that Drummania doesn't have a floor tom(purple note) and it doesn't have hi-hat/cymbal markers, and no double bass pedal.

However, there is a new version of Drummania called Drummania XG coming out that does indeed have a left cymbal, a hi-hat pedal (with notes marked for it), a floor tom, and double bass, as well as a wide-screen hi-def monitor. :P
