@rocketman221projects i gowed to the orignal nvidia site and then when i try to open it. it doesnt open anything

@qwertyuiop246603 That's the unity launcher bar. It is on 11.04, but you have to have graphics acceleration to use unity. I find unity to be a pain in the ass though. You can't customize anything.

Just curious, what's the good of having the latest proprietary drivers when compiz doesn't work in unity? Does it help you play 3d games, is that the story?

Reload the packages using Synaptic. It's easy to miss that step, just press the blue refresh button.

When I quick search for nvidia , there is no nvidia current and nvidia settings. What should I do now?
