lennon wrote the songs with the most soul and in most in touch with being human. in real life, he was out of touch and often inhumane.

This song, and album, really tear your heart out. What a traumatic life he lived. So much pain and lonliness. His music was his salvation. It set him free. John was the heart and soul of The Beatles. Paul was all fluff and frills.
