Tom Shay of Profits Plus discusses how as a small business you have many opportunities that the big businesses do not. He uses FedEx-Kinkos as an example of a big guy who made a mistake, and a bar of chocolate and a bar of soap to represent two little guys who made mistakes. Tom Shay is a 4th generation retailer that gives great business advice and is a well respected seminar speaker.

  • Well done video, good job in incorporating the chocolate and soap into the piece. One thing I did disagree with is when you said that the soap company didn't do anything to get your business. I feel the business DID get your business by offering a product you liked...I think the soap company did a bad job at KEEPING your business by not providing a card or catalog. Either way, excellent video and great ideas for customership, if thats a word :)
