Thats not a theory its a fact; Country/blues were the predecessors of rock & roll.
Also, its not just the states, the stones, clapton, cream, etc... got off on blues

They may not get pop radio play, but at work(grocery store) they get more satellite radio play then probably anyone else out there. I sure am glad for that. haha
