When replied that he had, he was offered legal support to draw up an affadivt.

I'm from MN and saw Coleman at an "expensive menu" restaurant during his visit to a smaller west-central MN city back when he was campaigning for governor. That city mainly consisted of working class folks and farmers, the only people who came were the rich folks, minus me and about 5 others who came to ask questions. All he talked about was helping the local business and slumlord owners, and when we attempted to ask questions, we were either talked over or ignored.
