Noax Technologies (http://www.noax.com) is a manufacturer of industrial touchscreen computers. In business for over 25 years, all of our computers feature totally sealed construction and carry at least the IP65 rating. With an average run time of 8 years in the harshest environments, our PCs have enjoyed long-term success with many of the world's largest companies.

Our customers are always asking us if our washdown computers are really fully protected against the ingress of water. The computer we are testing here is our S15G2 stainless steel touchscreen computer, as used in the food processing industry. This particular computer is rated IP67, which means it can withstand temporary submersion in up to 1 meter of water. Rather than taking our testing agency's word for it, we decided to find out for ourselves what this computer will handle.

It is important to note that no special seals (or glue) were used with this computer. The casing on this computer can easily be removed with screws, and removing the cover does NOT invalidate the noax 2 year standard warranty. Testing was performed on 2 different nights, all with the same computer. Multiple throws and submersions were recorded, and the best footage was used to make this video.

We have many more tests planned for our entire product line. For more info visit our website or send me an email at cmitchell@noax.com.
