Alright, so you're probably wondering why I titled this video "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster: Hong Kong". Well, of course, there is no such version of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, but that's the point. I decided that there were a few things that could use improvement with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, so I used Hong Kong Disneyland as the setting (excuse) to create a new version of this popular attraction. This idea is similar to my "Expedition Everest Concept" video, for those of you who have seen it; I wanted to use my own imagination to "Re-Imagineer" this attraction, not because it's bad, but just because it's worth seeing how the ride could have turned out differently.
So, you're probably wondering what I changed. Well, first of all, you'll notice that the exterior of the building is completely different. It's basically a mixture of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in Disney's Hollywood Studios and the one in Walt Disney Studios, Paris. In fact, even the layout of the queue and the exit are different (for those of you who know the layout of the building well enough, you should notice the change). A lot of things I kept the same, though. For example, the ride still uses the fictitious company "G-Force Records", and it is still a Vekoma-style launched roller coaster. In fact, it has the same speed and the same first elements; however, after that the ride changes. The number one complaint I hear about Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is that it's too short; people want more. So, I decided to change the layout of the track (it is similar, but those of
letely different, including the addition of an extra corkscrew). The ride isn't only different, but it's also longer by about an additional thirty seconds. Also, I changed a lot of the scenery inside the main show building. Those of you who have been on "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster: Starring Aerosmith" in Disney's Hollywood Studios will notice the same theme: you're driving in a high-speed limo to get to the Aerosmith concert across town; however, I feel that the ride's current signs are too "tacky". Of course the scenery is fun, but I wanted to make it more realistic (in a fun way). For example, instead of flying through the Hollywood sign, you fly through a drive-thru. My version features more facades and even more realistic signs (I did keep a few funny or "tacky" ones in there, though). Finally, you'll notice that I mixed my own on-board soundtrack. I decided to use three excellent Aerosmith songs that are not featured in the queue or on-board either attraction: "Drop Dead Gorgeous", "Beyond Beautiful", and "What Kind of Love Are You On?"
You'll also notice that at the end of the video, I included a bonus feature: the ride with the lights on. I used the flying camera (using the cheat code "D Lean") to show how riders would evacuate the attraction along the various catwalks in case of a ride malfunction. It gives you a great opportunity to get an up-close look at how I design my custom supports and my track layout. I hope it'll inspire future attractions from other fellow "Imagineers".
Also, for those skeptics out there, I'd just like to add a few things. First of all, I'm not trying to say that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is a bad attraction. I actually love the current version and wouldn't change much at all. It's one of my favorite rides of all time. I just felt like being creative and changing things up a bit. It might even make you appreciate the two current versions more than you did before. I also do not take credit for most of this ride, only for the small changes that I made.
This ride is heavily inspired by and based off of the actual attraction, so I give thorough thanks and credit to the Walt Disney Company, to Aerosmith, and to Vekoma International for their vivid imaginations and outstanding skills.
And, for those of you who comment that this is not the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster you know and love, and that there is no such Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in Hong Kong, then you didn't read the description before commenting, did you? =P
As always, enjoy! =)

Lol. This audio actually fits the real rock n roller coaster quite well. Can I play the same songs ( in the same order) to make a custom soundtrack to my nolimits rock n roller coaster final version? ( nl rnrc final version comming soon!)

Keep in mind, every train has a different mix. The ones they have actually made for the ride are quite good. You will need to ride at least 5 times to get all the mixes. Of course, we all believe that "I could do better." go for it.
