  • One of the most underrated and greatest hiphop albums ever........

  • @nykballaz No, "bling rap" should take responsibility. NWA, Ice-T, Geto Boys and company only told it like they saw it in the streets. De La Soul may not be from the inner cities, so maybe that's why their music has always been positive and carefree. Not all people live heavenly, think about it. Still, gangsta rap is my favorite subgenre and will always be!

  • 3, free, tree, three...whatever way yahhhh feck'n say it, 3 is the magic number...

  • Wow, this track is fantastic. So different than anything I have been listening to. I don't know how I have never head this album before. This is really, really great stuff.

  • Me to a youth now days: "You wanna act like you know what's up? What's the Magic Number? Don't know? Shut the fuck up, sonny."

  • This song is like a small seed that was planted many years ago to grow into a large tree that we have today, and a Great seed it was at that.... the tree developed many branches and went out of control somewhat but we still know where the roots are !

  • @fleshnbone187 Ah, so they were reporters.

  • @fiqraw It's not at all underrated, no idea where you got that impression from. It's still recognized as a big part of musical history, constantly included in greatest albums lists by ... idk, douchebags who make their living making lists like that... Point is, they got their probs, it just slows down after two decades. You wouldn't say Charlie Chaplin's biggest pieces are underrated, would you?

This album was the most recognized one by De La Soul, and their later work is just as good.

  • @Electroguy1 Go fuck yourself, shitstain.

  • @fleshnbone187 That's like admitting you're an idiot.
