Right Through Me Ch. 14

Joseph

The weather was hot and humid, and it was miserable being kept inside for the day. After talking to some undercover Hawks, Joe decided that everyone could go out to the beach. The girls were especially happy, because they were rarely allowed out of the house. It wasn't so the guys could keep them to themselves, but because of their safety. After Serena, security for the girls had been stepped up one hundred fold.

"Baby, you excited to go into the ocean?" Joe asked as he strapped Skylar into his car seat in the back of his backup car, a black charger. Sky clapped his little hands, reaching out to grab his dad's nose. He was excited to be spending the day with his daddy. "I'll take that as a yes."

Nick led the way in his truck with Seth, Lee, Riley, and Brett, Lee's girlfriend. Seth was sandwiched in between the girls in the backseat, much to his dismay. Kevin had Melody, Liam, and Leah in his pitch black, smoky Escalade. Kellan slid into the front seat of the charger with Joe after helping Samantha slip into the back. She put her attention on the little baby in the car seat as Joe fell in between the two larger vehicles.

The drive was short, and relatively quiet. Kellan was listening to the radio, and Joe was thinking about the news of a drug shipment that would be coming in, in a few days, that the Hawks would have to intercept. He was brought out of those thoughts by a new song that came on, 'Down on Me' by Jeremih, the song that had been playing when Joe had first started dancing with the girl from the night before. At once all the sensations from the sex and the dancing and her touch came flooding over him. He shivered, and Kellan took it for him being chilled by the air conditioning he had turned all the way over to the blue. He slid it to a warmer temperature, tapping his foot to the beat of the song.

Joe pulled up to the beach front parking lot. They'd come to a quieter portion of the beach front, not wanting to be at risk even more than they already were. Kellan let Samantha out as the group hopped out of the dark vehicles. Sam gently extricated Sky from his car seat and hid his face in her neck to hide his eyes from the bright sun.

"Here we go baby," Joe said gently, putting a small black cap on his head that cast a shadow over his face. The small boy uncovered his face, no longer squinting in the blazing sunlight. "That's better, isn't it?"

Kevin carried two coolers filled with beer and drinks for the girls and Nick had the cool cases holding the food. Liam held the basket of towels in his right hand, his other holding Leah's beneath his own. About twenty feet away from the place they decided to settle, Joe noticed to girls with their heads close together gossiping about something. One was blonde with a large chest that was showing very much in the barely there bikini. The brunette had pin straight locks, layered perfectly, and her body was perfectly proportioned and tanned. Something tugged in Joe's chest, and he thought he recognized the girl. When he couldn't place it, he shook his head and turned back to his group.

All of the boys were clothed in matching smoky board shorts. Leah giggled when Liam peeled his black tank top off, revealing his bare, toned chest. One by one the other boys did the same, each of them with at least a six pack of abs and a very noticeable 'V' leading down into his swim trunks that hung low on their hips.

After getting sunscreen rubbed into his back and lathering it on his chest, Joe helped little Sky get some put on. He made sure to tickle the little boy's tummy, causing him to giggle happily before sweeping his small form into his arms and heading towards the water.

It was cooler than he expected, and felt amazing on his heated skin. He made is way out till he was about navel deep and carefully lowered Skylar into the water. Joe kept a gentle grip on his son's sides as he held him in the water, moving him around. Sky seemed beside himself with glee at the sensation of swimming.

He felt the eyes of his 'family' on him, as well as the girls down the beach who he'd seen earlier. Sky soaked in the attention when the other guys waded out to them in the water, taking turns gliding him through the water or tossing him gently in the air. It was almost like Skylar had six dads, but really he only had one daddy and five overprotective uncles. Not that little Sky minded. He enjoyed getting attention from the guys and girls around the house, but he liked his daddy's attention the best. Ever since the day he'd been born, Skylar had just seemed to know which of the big burly men that had surrounded him had been his dad.
