Oh thanks, now I get it. I thought this way, because there's another episode where she calls someone using a jamaican accent. But she calls a patient of the same clinic so it makes sense. I thought that there may be something else that I'm missing.

There are so many hidden hints in the show that I thought this might be a reference to something I don't know. Cause I'm not American. So just an assumption.

@hemmojito I don't really get what you're saying or if you're trying to make a joke but the reason she says "pick up" instead of picks up is because it's probably a play on how a lot of times when someone speaks English as a second language they forget to pluralize words...if you're asking why they're dialing the numbers in the first place its b/c its V-day and Liz has no one to pick her up after her sugary and they need to find someone bc shes messed up.
