Proxemic Technologies and EDEN

Proxemic Technologies was incorporated in order to fill the technological gap between knowledge and how we absorb it. Our first product, EDEN (EDucational ENvironment), is aimed towards college students that want to learn on their terms, utilizing the latest gesture interface technology, such as the Microsoft Kinect®. Through a generic software framework we would like to bring this technology not only to classrooms, but also to professional training services to allow for greater interactivity and quality of learning.

In staying with our academic roots, Proxemic Technologies is also developing an app that will simplify the college touring process through the usage of augmented reality. This location-based software would allow future students and their families to view information about the campus they are visiting through their smartphone or tablet using this app. These innovations are just the beginning of what Proxemic Technologies can do to empower human learning across the nation.
