The Magic Kingdom presented the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks to ring in the new year of 2010. The finale features fireworks exploding all around the park. But you can see them all from one view behind the Magic Kingdom.
Join friends, family and neighbors of a housing subdivision located behind the Disney theme park as they enjoy the show from their street.

Recorded on Dec. 31, 2009 and Jan. 1 2010.

  • I had no idea Disney is the largest consumer of fireworks. Are they really the largest consumer?

  • Disney is the largest consumer of fireworks in the world, so I would expect their display to nothing short of magnificent. And it looks like they do not disappoint!

  • I lived right next to Disneyland in California for years, if I looked out my bedroom window at night, I would see the fireworks. It never got old, I would fall asleep to the fireworks at night. Then I would go to the park and watch the same show. The sound never got to anyone in my family. One time we went to the park down the street to watch the show, and this guy proposed to a girl and they kissed while a bunch of fireworks (the finale) started to go off. But then I had to move to Albuquerque.

  • @ultraluis3= Me too. I couldn't handle the fireworks either. It sounds too much like artillery fire.

  • lol i wouldn't like to live behind magic kingdom either...is like, of course i love the fireworks show, and sure i could go see them everynight, but i have to bear EVERYDAY with the explosions and seeing the same fireworks over and over again everyday FOR YEARS...and then when i actually go to the park, it would be boring to watch the fireworks....i wouldn't like it because it would ruin the magic for me : /

  • Definitely not, not even close to getting old! The parks are also not open 24/7, Walt Disney World itself is, but the parks do close to Guests at night.

  • No way P-wire....living behind the MK would be awesome..I could live with the fireworks....

  • @pussywire I would enjoy it.
