@lesterclaypool1 Just because we don't NEED the nutrients doesn't mean it's not good for us, and doesn't mean it's a bad decision. May as well eat it if you are comfortable with it instead of letting it go to waste. It would be like if you threw away a free steak that someone gave you. The person who I called a close minded loon was being just that, so I wanted to let them know how I felt they were acting.

@AutomHatter There's no reason for a human in the developed world to eat placenta. Unlike animals we don't need the nutrients to help keep us nest or den bound for the first few days of our offspring's life and unlike mothers in the developing world, where it isn't even that common, we have no need to preserve said nutrients in anticipation of not finding adequate food . This is western vanity at it's worst and a great example of why the rest of the world hates us.
