THAT'S 4 ROUNDS - TRY THAT FIRST (ITS A TOUGH WORKOUT IN ITSELF!!!) WHEN YOU ARE ABLE GET THROUGH THAT PUSH IT TO 8 ROUNDS (WHICH IT THAT SAME REPEATED TWICE) & THEN ONCE YOU GET THROUGH 8 ROUNDS, PUSH IT TO THE FULL 12 ROUNDS (THE 4 ROUNDS REPEATED 3 TIMES). iF YOU CAN DO 12 ROUNDS AT THAT INTENSITYYOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE A DECENT LEVEL OF STAMINA TO BE ABLE TO START SPARRING. BY HAVING THE STAMINA (OR TEH ROUNDS "IN THE BANK") YOU CAN CONCENTRATE THEN ON TECHNIQUE AND LET YOUR PUNCHES GO WHILE SPARRING WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT GASING OUT. WHILE THEIR IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ACTUAL SPARRING THSI WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD BASIS OF WHAT ITS LIKE TO GO TWELVE ROUNDS - HOWEVER DON'T FORGET IN FIGHTS AND SPARRING PEOPLE ARE HITTING YOU BACK!!! :-D
BY TAKING ONLY 30 SECINDS REST IN TRAINING THIS WILL MEAN TAHT WHEN YOU GO INTO AN ACTUAL FIGHT WHERE YOU GET A FULL MINUTE REST BETWEEN ROUNDS IT WILL BE MUCH EASIER FOR YOU TO RECOVER AND YOU WILL HAVE TWICE THE TIME YOU ARE USED TO IN TRAINING.
I ALWAYS RECOMMEND TRAINING WITH A GUMSHEILD (MOUTHPIECE) IN AS IT GETS YOU ADJUSTED TO HOW YOU WILL BREATH IN THE RING WITH IT IN - WHICH ALLOWS MUCH LESS AIR THROUGH THAN WITHOUT ONE.
