here's another one of my favorite channel switching amps. sorry about the camera clipping/distortion---hard to hear the headphones in the room w/ amp cranked, and older camera audio meters didn't track peaks very well! but you get the picture....

@jimllfaxit The guys in my band have been calling it a "Boner" since day one! LOL! The other guy in the band was using a Cornford and we were calling that amp the "Cornfed" cause it was so organic!

Couple of questions: The video title says classic but the video has the back of the amp saying 101. I thought they were two different amps?
Also, at 1:49, it looks like channel II's LED is also lit up. Is this just the camera angle or some trick the XTC does that I've never seen?

early classics were modded from 101Bs

Ed's moving the knobs because he's a tone connoisseur ...the guitarist'll be able to hear the amp's full range without having to stop playing. He cares about helping guitarists to find their own voice...he/Suhr sold me my Doug Aldrich bridge pickup and my Davies N4 has had liquid lead tones ever since (!)

Amazing!Hey.The Vid says "ecstacy classic" but the shot of the back panel says it's the model 101b.Can you please clarify what we are listening to?Great tones.I'm ruined again.

it's an xtc classic...i'm not sure if newer ones are labeled differently on the back, but i think the early ones started life as 101bs and were modded to the classic.
