Turkish producer Feri first appeared on Deepsessions in June of 2011 with a remix of John Moore's 'Particles Of Light' that caught our attention.

He swiftly followed that up with his 'Crawlin' EP in September which contained some brilliant atmospheric progressive house. Now as 2011 is nearing its end Feri is back on Deepsessions again for his 'Hollow' EP which comes with two new original tracks and a remix from Coskun Yorulmaz.

The 'Hollow' original begins with a brilliant synth line that stands out right away, it's a got a nice grating texture but still soft and just so interesting. The drums and chords get dropped into the mix quickly with some shuffling break beats. The track works on pure flow, the way the lead synth weaves its way through the track is simply mesmerizing. Very cool stuff from Feri. There is also a 'Deep Edit' of 'Hollow' provided which focuses more on a drummy groove and the gorgeous sombre sounding chords which are deeply emotional. They standout brilliantly during the main breakdown and are accented with some amazingly delicate bells. Magical sounds from Feri here.

The second original 'Regular Emotions' is next and it's a bigger sounding progressive track with lovely melodic overtones. The tough kick and driving percussion give it a big room presence right way and as the hypnotic bells and big lead riffs work their way into the mix the emotions and dreamy vibe get taken higher. The is also a collaborative remix of 'Regular Emotions' included from Feri & Coskun Yorulmaz. Their rework starts off with some really cool and punchy machine style beats with a big sweep slowly building off in the background. A heavenly set of meandering melodies soon weaves their over top of the tracks tough framework. It's the perfect contrast and the track breathes really well during an amazing drop. Great package from Deepsessions.
