The mountain received 1-2 feet of fresh powder the previous day 12/15 but the visibility was very poor. The top didn't open until today 12/16/10 Thur.. The mountain was empty and I took run after run, tracking out the top and in my other footage, I then went off the back... UNREAL DAY!!!
p.s.- I also forgot to mention, I was also using a hand a held camera back then before I upgraded to the Contour HD goggle cam. I killed my camera 4 times by taking too many faceshots to it and on this run, I took long, sweeping turns to avoid getting it covered in snow but believe me... If I wanted to get some faceshots on this run, it would have been VERY easy! :)

@ford260 the mountain received 1-2 feet of fresh powder overnight but because of the wind direction, it was wind buffed on the face. If you want to see faceshots of fresh pow, check out my other footage my man! Also, go look up the snowfall history up in Mammoth for the month of Dec. 2011... It was the most snowfall in the history of their existance. I hope you got some of it.
