1985 - 3 CBC Television promos - Look Again!

The CBC's slogan for its new lineup of TV shows was "Look Again!"

Look again at how many American shows made up the broadcast schedule of our national, publicly-funded (by Canadian taxpayers) network: "Remington Steele", "Dallas", "Kate & Allie", "Murder, She Wrote"... "Golden Girls" even got a promo all to itself!

The week's lineup also included "The Raccoons", "Fraggle Rock", "The Tommy Hunter Show", "Front Page Challenge", "The Beachcombers", "Hangin' In", and "Wayne & Shuster".

"Venture", "Marketplace", "The Fifth Estate", "The Nature of Things", and "Hockey Night in Canada" (all of which are still in production today) are also mentioned in the week's lineup.

And you can see Brian Williams wearing one of those ridiculous bright orange "CBC Sports" suit jackets that all CBC Sports hosts had to wear on-camera.
