Uncertain about their safety and fearing religious persecution in Khomeini's Islamic Theocracy, an estimated 80,000 of Iran's 100,000 Jews fled the country. This documentary tells the story of those Jews who reestablished a tight knit community in Los Angeles.

In the American cultural imagination, Iranians are represented by scenes of hard-line religious leaders and unruly crowds crying "Down With America." Very little is known about the religious diversity of Iranians living in America. This documentary helps create a more nuanced view of the culture and religious diversity of Iranians both inside and outside the country.

There were also Zoroastrians and Armenians and even Jews fighting in the war when Ayatollah Sanei called them "Najes" and even made an example that if a cat falls in a bowl of yogurt and doesn't die in it, the yogurt is ok to eat but if a Christian touches the yogurt with his finger, that yogurt is unclean i.e. najes.

There were many who profited from the revolution and the war. Look at the Bazaar today and tell me how many of these billioners are Moslem and how many Jews are left?

These are the people that were told ahead of time that a revolution was coming and they left with a lot of money before the revolution!

The people who had nothing to do with the war that the west had created (the Iraq war) and left. Millions of the same Muslims that they are talking about died to save Iran, and, now they are going back and sell what was left for a great profit! If the west and Israelis had their whish come trough, those lands would have been worthless, like Afghani lands!
