While I do think Sasha Baron Cohen is a funny guy, I think this time he crossed the line. Aita is not a terrorist. Yes, he was jailed in 2003, but they couldn't prove anything. Today he is a peace activist. He thought that a German filmmaker would come and do a documentary about the Palestinian people and their suffering, but instead he becomes the victim of a sick joke. This is truly disgusting. The man's reputation in his community has gone down all because of a stupid scene.

ok i hate sacha baron cohen but lets get one thing straight. Ayman Abu Aita is the alleged leader of the alaqsa martyrs brigade- a terrorist organization that used children as suicide bombers and is responsible for dozens of suicide bombings and shootings of innocent civillians. the fact that he was arrested in 2003 means he was somehow involved in this despicable group. a group that does not protest peacefully. I don't care if the mans retired or christian, he is still a terrorist by any defn.
