lyrics: Siuil, siuil, siuil a ruin Siuil go sochair agus siuil go ciuin Siuil go doras agus ealaigh liom (Chorus) Siuil, siuil, siuil a ruin Siuil go sochair agus siuil go ciuin Siuil go doras agus ealaigh liom Is go dte tu mo mhuirnin slan I wish I was on yonder hill 'Tis there I'd sit and cry my fill Until every tear would turn a mill I'll sell my rod, I'll sell my reel I'll sell my only spinning wheel To buy my love a sword of steel (Chorus) I'll dye my petticoats, I'll dye them red And "round the world I'll beg my bread Until my parents shall wish me dead (Chorus three times) Translation: Go, go, go my love Go quietly and go peacefully Go to the door and fly with me And may you go safely, my darling
@breyerismythang223 During this era horses were not seperated into distinct breeds but rather by use (destrier, rouncey, palfrey, jennet, hobby, etc) Although ancestors of the modern: Barb, Arabian, Spanish, Friesian, and Andalusians, are believed to have been used as war horses.
