Great review. This is my favorite movie. I don't know how many times i have seen it now, but it never gets boring for me.

Well, here's a good example of me not agreeing with Ebert and Roeper this time. ;) I did not like this movie.

It works if you can accept Cruise as a very stupid hitman. For as good as he claimed to be, he made way too many mistakes in this movie. I didn't buy into these characters for a minute and found areas that Foxx could have exploited to escape Cruise. This was not convincing.

This is without doubt Tom Cruises greatest performance.

its interesting because jamie foxx went cold almost immediately after this, both in music and film. I never quite worked out why.

@buckleygeneration Yeah, this was a year or so after he went under surgery for thyroid cancer.

cruise played vincent so well i forget he was da villian...i kinda wanted him to kill foxx and smith at the end

I haven't seen many reviews from around this time. You can tell Ebert's health has gone downhill here, his voice barely sounds like him, not even like how he sounded just a couple of years before.

The biggest blooper for me is that even after the taxi flips over, the laptop is still intact.

@greensucksbluerules well then the movie isn't something for you then.
Thanks for posting this review.
