The housing bubble was caused by Democratic legislation, Bush was told by the CBO of Fannie and Freddie's systemic risks and Bush stated that it was a potential problem. The Republican's pushed to strengthen legislation in the House and Senate but have been strongarmed by the Democrats for years now. Andrew Cuomo initiated aggressive lending practices upon banks during Clinton's administration. Meanwhile Obama acted as an attorney for ACORN as minorities felt discriminated for their bad credit.
