I love windows and I will definitely try to keep bought operative systems for different purposes. Mac for fun and quality and pc for performance and gaming.

Im using my new macbook air and this shit is fast, it takes me less than 10 seconds to restart the computer, It took less than a minute to install the whole 2011 Microsoft office, this would take about 20 to 30 minutes on my previous laptop, photoshop installed in just about a minute aswell, it's a good laptop, but I'm debating about getting a 15in pro because of the screen, superdrive and more space, but I will miss out on the SSD

@wynnerd It depends on your budget. If you can afford the pro, go for it. If not, the Air is good enough. If you're not a gamer, the Air is a good pick along with being light and portable. Otherwise, the Pro is more powerful and has more storage.

I like the reference to cross country as I run. Good review! One thing I notice is that the Pro has a lot more programs and files and has had more use so it might be slower from that, along with fragmentation and such. A clean install of Lion or Snow Leopard on both Macs would have been more accurate.
