A film by Ashlyn Anstee -- You can see more of my art and films over at my blog (ashlyna.blogspot.com). This film-animatic-storyreel thing was made using hand drawn boards, and put together in a variety of digital programs. I started this project as a fun side bit while working on my thesis film, but like all good projects, it got away from me.
Music: "This Train Will Be Taking No Passengers" by Augie March, off of their beautiful album "Strange Bird". You can find this track, and most of their music, on iTunes. Well done. Just to point it out in case those who are "stateside" are unaware, this song is about Australia's immigration policy, referring in particular to our treatment of refugees, under the then Howard and now Gilard government. Absolutely spectacular song, one of my all time favourites, good clip to go with it. Not a subject for Australians to be proud of however.

Stumbled across this per chance. This perfectly fits this song. I think this has some of the greatest lyrics ever and the video matches a beaut. Well done mysterious internet stranger.
