Melodic Metal Lesson - Pedal Points Odd Time 7-8 Riffing

In this installment of Melodic Metal, we take a look at some pedal point ideas centered around root notes in E Minor. There's also an odd time signature to deal with, raising the challenge factor somewhat :D

I had some technical issues to deal with in this video. For some reason frames were dropping occasionally. Luckily I was able to salvage most of the video, just keep in mind that there are a few glitches here or there, though nothing too much to worry about thankfully.

@jedimastergarcia87 I'm afraid I don't have the time to do the transcribing anymore. The average video takes 2 to 3 hours to film and edit, then upload.

Oh. I just have a hard time fallowing videos and tabs make it alot easier for me to actually study. I will be going to guitar lessons next Saturday though so I will be good. We got hit hard with that snow storm so the roads are iced up in some areas and we don't want to take the chances today.

Nice! :D Do more melodic metal. Thats what I've been trying to get into. And you play it good for being in standard tuning but it'd sound sweet half step down too.

though this tune doesn't really have the same style, the odd time signature and use of flat 5s makes me think of Voivod.
