  • I was born in the 80's, musically raised by Hip Hop, but THIS... This just makes me want to know how to sing and play a trumpet. Otis is the man!

  • Estoy recien descubriendo a Otis, es decir dándole el mérito de muchas fantasticas canciones escuchadas durante TODA mi vida sin saber quien las cantaba. Su musica es maravillosa.

I´m just discovering Otis, I mean that just now I´m giving him the value for a lot of great songs I´ve listened through all my life, without knowing who sang them. His music is awesome!

  • @BennieAA Che culo!!!!!!!

  • I think he changed the orig lyrics: "I don't need no money, fortune or fame" to "I don't need no money, all I need is my fame." Go figure?

  • OK, setting "overplayed" factors aside if you don't love the original song you must be hopeless. HOWEVER, OTIS IS AMAZING. It is not that this rendition is better, it's how his cracking soulful voice makes you feel like someone pulled your heart right out of your chest. Add the hard driving yet reserved in the right spots backing band and it is a real moving recording.

  • great choice as usual.....class tune..ty!

  • great memories from this one

  • hes the man

  • I am a total hiphop/reggae-head, but Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gay and Stevie Wonder. Man, I love 'em, a black mans voice, you just can't compare with that.

  • I was educated with Otis, that's why I can say I have the best mom and aunt ever. That was my fav song when I was 7, and it still is !

  • This song was written by Smokey Robinson for the Temptations at Motown. Otis nails it in his own soulful style.
